A certificate can be redeemed by placing an order on line, paying for that order and then I give a refund for the amount of the certificate.

Or by using it with a mail order.

The reason for this is, PayPal will not allow a negative amount to be added to the shopping cart!

PayPal does offer Gift Certificates, but the receipt must be a PayPal member and many of my customers and the ones they buy certificates for are not.
